Divergent

Five broad personality dimensions, viewed as a map rather than a box — with an additional exploratory archetype layer.

What it explores

Divergent uses the Big Five / OCEAN structure as its backbone. Instead of asking “what type are you?”, it looks at five continuous dimensions. You can be high, low or somewhere in between on each one.

The experiment then adds a second, more playful interpretation layer: eight 2rasi archetypes built from the overall pattern.

The five OCEAN dimensions

OpennessCuriosity, imagination, novelty and comfort with new ideas.
ConscientiousnessStructure, follow-through, planning and reliability.
ExtraversionSocial energy, expressiveness and engagement with the outside world.
AgreeablenessCooperation, empathy, trust and orientation toward harmony.
NeuroticismSensitivity to stress, uncertainty and negative emotional activation.

The archetype layer

Divergent also shows closeness to eight exploratory archetypes: Conductor, Analyst, Diplomat, Innovator, Stabilizer, Mentor, Driver and Architect.

These archetypes are a 2rasi interpretation layer. They are not part of the Big Five model itself and should be read as prompts for reflection, not personality diagnoses.

How to read the result

Look for tensions and combinations. A useful result is not “I am an Architect”. A more useful question is: which tendencies reinforce each other, and where do they pull in different directions?

Divergent is inspired by the Big Five / OCEAN framework but is not an official or independently validated Big Five instrument.
