2Pair

A reflection framework in development. The current research satellites test different parts of the approach before they are folded into the main product.

What is being explored

2Pair is built around repeated observation rather than a one-shot personality label. The broader project asks whether small choices, observed across multiple sessions, can support useful self-reflection without pretending to diagnose the person.

The research satellites are not the final product. They are temporary tools used to test pair balance, stimulus design, selection timing and the quality of the reflections produced.

The working idea

Observe choicesUse small decisions as signals rather than asking people to declare who they are.
Look for repetitionPatterns become more interesting when they recur across different situations and sessions.
Reflect, do not diagnoseThe output is designed to create a question worth noticing, not a fixed label or prediction.

Why there are two research satellites

Wave 1 tests pair balance and other choice mechanics. Calibration v0.1 focuses mainly on rapid-choice and selection-timing mechanics. Both have separate research jobs before the final 2Pair mechanism is fixed.

Both satellites are temporary. Their job is to inform the final 2Pair mechanism, then step out of the way.

About Calibration participation

Calibration is an 18+ mechanical timing / UX study. It does not assess personality, psychological traits, employment suitability or health.

You can continue locally without uploading research data. If you voluntarily opt in to research upload, the study stores pseudonymous timing and technical telemetry only; reflection text and intensity remain local to your browser.
